Advocacy and Information Network Division
This division carries out the tasks to develop and formulate library and information policies, laws, bylaws etc. This division is responsible for advocating library for all and for all times. This division advocates and helps any library professionals associations and institutions in need. This division is responsible to nominate Saraswati National and International Awards and various program based awards of the NLA. The division is presently headed by -----Member Ms. Nutan Dhungana Gautam---and Ramesh Prajuli---

Education, Research and Training Division
The Education, Research and Training Division of NLA organizes various programs. NLA provides accreditation to the LIS courses, contributes actively in framing courses of LIS in universities, education ministry, councils, and other packages.
Nepal Library Association – NLA has carried out many researches. Some of them are Status of Science and Technology Librarians in 1989. NLA has carried out a survey of public libraries of Nepal in _ _ _ NLA conducts various researches in cooperation with other libraries and LIS agencies. Outreach and Network Division
The outreach and network division is responsible for extending the NLA’s services, maintaining relationships, coordination and cooperation with interlibrary association, publishers, database vendors, organizations and institutions,  international relations etc. It also works to coordinate with various agencies for various joint ventures. Publication Division
NLA has a glorious history of publications. It published Nava Nirman in 1955s, Voice of Library magazine in 1981s and NLA courier in 1990s to date. NLA also publishes various research reports, workshop materials, conference proceedings, training materials/ manuals, reference books and souvenirs. The publication division carries out these functions.  The division is presently headed by ----Vice President Suresh Kumar Yadav- and Manju Shrestha------
Resource Mobilization Division
The Resource Mobilization Division has the responsibility of mobilizing interns, volunteers, available funds, human resource, and other resources on the need, demand and stock basis.
